Rick's association with Civic Theatre West
began as the host of our Cabaret Dinner Theatre
when he was the proprietor of the Vernon Street Grill. In his spare
time, he began helping out with our sets, including installing a
working refrigerator and sink with running water for
Wait Until Dark. Since the closing of the Vernon
Street Grill, we were able to take advantage of his
considerable construction knowledge and skills by appointing him our
Technical Director. After serving in that capacity for many years
and given his broad managerial experience, he agreed to step into
the role of Managing Director.
